BMS Logistics
BMS Logistics Inc. leased 432,000 square feet at KCI Intermodal BusinessCentre. and began operators in early 2018. The move was made in order for the company  to accommodate an increase in its customer base.

The site will assemble and ship palletized displays, which are large corrugated containers to hold and present a product often in the aisles of retailers, and smaller versions called PDQs for store shelves. BMS Logistics’ new operation also will include retail fulfillment services, which involve warehousing and shipping clients’ products to fill customer orders.

Crane Cartage Freight Service
Crane Cartage Freight Service is a provider of ground and logistics services. Its primary markets served include the airline industry, energy, automotive sectors and professional sports. The Kansas City, Platte County facility employs 30 full-time staff.

Engaged Companies
Engaged Companies recently moved its headquarters into a new 30,000 SF building in Parkville. Its eShipping arm delivers complete transportation management solutions to its clients nationwide in the areas of less-than-truckload, truckload, international, special services, parcel, and compliance. In addition to its Parkville headquarters, which is home to 125 employees, the company has offices in Denver and Dallas as well as sales people in cities all around the US.

Roll On Industries
Roll On Industries, a shipping logistics provider, doubled its brokerage and added 25 new power units and 65 new trailers in 2016 as its growth continues. Roll On Industries ships a variety of products all over the country as well as internationally. The company focuses on helping its clients find the most efficient and cost-effective transportation plans domestically and abroad. Clients include paper products, building materials, insulation and beverage companies. The Parkville-based company currently employs 70 staff and has plans to add another eight to 12 new jobs in 2017.
