Local Partners
The Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri (EDC of KC), is a non-profit agency established to oversee the efforts of six statutory redevelopment agencies. It serves as Kansas City, Missouri's connection to the business and economic development community. The EDC of KC and its agencies work cooperatively to promote a strong local identity and support a competitive, vibrant, and self-sustaining economy.

Regional Partners
The Kansas City Area Development Council (KCADC) is a private, non-profit organization charged with representing the economic interests of the entire two-state, 18-county Greater Kansas City region of 2.5 million. KCADC is also credited with the development of regional industry-sector initiatives, including KC SmartPort, KC Animal Health Corridor, the KC Area Life Sciences Institute, TeamKC: Life+Talent, and the KC Tech Council.

The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) is a non-profit association of city and county governments and the metropolitan planning organization for the bi-state Kansas City region. Governed by a Board of Directors made up of local elected officials, MARC serves nine counties and 119 cities, providing a forum for the region to work together to advance social, economic, and environmental progress.
