North Kansas City Hospital
With approximately 3,000 employees, North Kansas City Hospital is one of the area’s Top 50 employers and vital contributor to the local economy. As an acute-care facility with 451 licensed beds, NKCH specializes in cardiac care, cancer care, orthopedics, women’s health, minimally invasive surgery and emergency services. The hospital is partnering with The University of Kansas Cancer Center, the region’s only National Cancer Institute-designated facility, to provide comprehensive cancer treatment to its patients. Additionally, North Kansas City Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center with a 24,000 square-foot Emergency Department that is one of the busiest in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Saint Luke’s North Hospital–Barry Road
Saint Luke’s North Hospital is a two-campus hospital serving Kansas City’s Northland region. Between our Barry Road and Smithville campuses, Saint Luke’s North offers 159 patient beds and more than 20 specialized services. Saint Luke’s North Hospital–Barry Road features 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic testing, Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and comprehensive rehabilitation services.
