The North Platte R-I School District is located in northeast Platte County. The district includes the towns of Camden Point, Dearborn, and Edgerton and has a total student enrollment of 620. North Platte R-I School District continues to achieve the highest academic rating given by the state (Accredited with Distinction in Performance) and in 2012 received a “What Parents Want Award” from SchoolMatch, an independent school selection consulting firm.

Park Hill School District
Park Hill School District is located in the southern third of Platte County, just north of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Park Hill is a public school district with an enrollment of 11,458 students. Park Hill provides comprehensive educational services for students in pre-K through grade 12. Park Hill is a Missouri Quality Award recipient and received an internationally recognized mark of quality when it achieved AdvancED District Accreditation.

Platte County R-3 School District
The Platte County R-3 School District is located in the center of Platte County with more than 40 percent of the district within the city limits of Kansas City. The district hosts seven traditional education buildings, one early childhood center and one area career technical school and has an enrollment of nearly 4,094 students. Platte County R-3 has repeatedly received a perfect score on the Annual Performance Report by the Missouri Department of Education.

The West Platte School District is dedicated to preserving the past and building the future for their students. Located in Weston, West Platte R-2 School District is Accredited with Distinction in Performance and its students have some of the top MAP scores in the state. The district has one elementary school and one junior/senior high school and an enrollment of 600.
