Kansas City:
Total Population: 520,858 (split between Platte, Clay, Jackson, & Cass counties)
Approximately 20% of Platte County’s land area lies within the city limits of Kansas City, and 46% of the county's population lives in this portion. Platte County is home to the Kansas City International Airport (KCI), a key regional asset. The airport and its surrounding area, often referred to as the KCI Corridor, serve as a major employment center for both Platte County and the greater Kansas City region.

Parkville
Total Population: 9,234
Parkville is located in southern Platte County, overlooking the scenic Missouri River. Known for its charming historic shops and restaurants, it attracts visitors from across the Kansas City region.
