The Business Use Incentives for Large-Scale Development (BUILD) program provides financial incentives to support large business projects by reducing infrastructure and equipment costs. Bond proceeds can fund public or private infrastructure and capital improvements, but cannot be used for working capital or operating costs.

The Chapter 100 Property Tax Exemption provides sales tax relief on tangible personal property purchased through Chapter 100 bonds for non-manufacturing projects. Eligible industries include manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, office, R&D, agricultural processing, and interstate commerce services. Retail and intrastate services are not eligible.

Platte County includes a Missouri Enhanced Enterprise Zone (EEZ) near the Kansas City International Airport, offering tax credits to new or expanding businesses.
