Thanks to our great partners and communities who helped make the 2019 Community Development Day a great success.
On May 13th, the Platte County EDC hosted commercial and residential brokers, real estate developers, community representatives, sponsors, and members at the fifth annual Community Development Day.
The event provided a day of networking at The National Golf Club in Parkville. A Community Expo kicked the day off where Platte County communities, including Kansas City, Parkville, Platte City, Riverside, and Weston showcased news and developments in their communities.
A drawing was held during lunch and prizes donated by the expo participants were given to the lucky winners. Mike Long won a prize and a piece of history from the Kansas City Aviation Department. He went home with a chunk of concrete from the demolition of Terminal A.
It was a beautiful day for a golf scramble. The only thing rough was well, the rough.
