Parkville, Mo. – Governor Eric Greitens visited Parkville-based Rosnet to celebrate their growth and continued success. The company plans to create 50 new good paying jobs and invest $3,388,000 into their operations. The Parkville Economic Development Council and the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) partnered to assist in Rosnet’s successful expansion.

“Our mission is more jobs and higher pay and we are getting results,” said Gov. Eric Greitens. “We are proud to be fighting for Missouri families every day.”

Founded in 1998, ROS Technology was the first web-based enterprise reporting solution for multi-unit restaurant operators. From an initial offering, the company’s products have grown to include tools that assist restaurant managers with controlling food and labor costs and many additional modules that include daily checklists, log books and BI capabilities.

Gene Peters, President/CEO of Rosnet, said this regarding Rosnet’s choice of doing business in Missouri, “I cannot imagine doing business in any other state. I am looking forward to expansion of our staff and facilities here in Parkville. I believe that Governor Greitens has the best interests of Missouri’s businesses in mind with some of the economic development policies that he has proposed.”

The Missouri DED was instrumental and a valued partner of the Parkville EDC in applying existing and valuable programs toward making this expansion viable and successful for the Parkville company, furthering the investment impact and employment growth of Rosnet for the future.

“Rosnet continues to lead the way providing cutting edge, data driven restaurant management software and we’re proud to be able to partner with them and the State of Missouri to ensure continued growth for the long term.,” said Mike Kellam, executive director of the Parkville EDC. “They’ve been one of Parkville’s greatest success stories and continue to raise the bar.”

Rosnet opened its first office in the Parkville Commercial Underground under Park University in 2002. At the time Rosnet moved into that 2500 square foot facility the total employee count was five. Fast forward nineteen years and Rosnet now occupies over 18,000 square feet of office space that includes space for 62 employees and an SSAE 16 Type 2 Certified and PCI compliant data center.
