www.emkf.org - The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation provides entrepreneurial development for all stages of business people from beginners to those looking to expand an existing business. Its FastTrac program is a hands-on business development program.
www.kcsourcelink.com - KC Source Link is one of the first stops when starting a business or when considering expansion. It serves as a single source of information for places & programs that can assist business owners.
http://www.bloch.umkc.edu/sbdc The Small Business Development Center is currently housed at the UMKC campus. Their focus is to guide and assist small business with their start-up and continuation processes.
www.missouridevelopment.org/mbac is the site for Missouri Business Assistance Center. This comprehensive website includes information on planning, permitting, financing and many other topics
www.simplymoreloans.com is Midwest Small Business Finance, formerly the Clay/Platte Development Corp, which has been assisting new businesses and business expansions since 1982. It offers a revolving loan fund, SBA 504 loans as well as other loan programs.
