Our Staff
The PCEDC employs a
full-time four-person staff to manage the enormous day-to-day tasks of effectively
and efficiently running our organization. The team members bring a wealth of
excellent economic development and planning experience to their work. They are
not only Platte County employees, they are also residents; and all share a deep
affection for the county and a strong desire to help it succeed and grow.
Burdette (Pete) Fullerton, Executive Director, 1990 -
Present
Accomplishments: During Pete’s tenure with the Platte County EDC, the
organization has won over 40 awards for economic development services from
local, regional, national and international organizations. Since 1991, the
Platte County EDC has been involved in the successful completion of over 127
projects that have created 11,374 jobs in Platte County. The Platte County EDC
was awarded the first ever Missouri Governor’s Achievement Award in 1999.

Diane Jones, Office Manager, 2005 - Present
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates payroll and employee insurance benefits, is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and updates our ever-growing database
- Maintains correspondence to our PCEDC members, taking meeting minutes and coordinates luncheons

- Member of the National Association of Professional Women
- Experience in insurance, medical and church offices
- Sales experience in life insurance, debt consolidation, mutual funds and variable annuities
Education:
- Maintains Life
Insurance, Variable Annuity and Limited Securities licenses in both Missouri and Kansas
Shani Porter, Business & Community Outreach Coordinator, 2007 - Present
Responsibilities:
- Manages all business outreach efforts and organization activities associated with business development and workforce development services for Platte County residents and employers
- Works with the P.C. communities to identify economic development needs and opportunities
Professional Background:
- Member of the Missouri and National American Planning Association
- 12+ years experience in local and county government

Jesse Shroyer, Real Estate Marketing Coordinator, 2007 - Present
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates marketing tours
- Maintains communication with local real estate brokers
- Webmaster for PCEDC website and the LocationOne real estate database
- Oversees implementation of new PCEDC brand, logo and tagline
- Assists with relocation projects and research
