Education is one of the
reasons people choose to make their home in Platte County. After all, Platte County school districts are
regularly recognized by the state, and nationally, for their exemplary
performance and for putting kids first. Platte County not only
offers quality pre-K through high school institutions, we are also home to
several colleges and a university—bringing our educational options full circle. The proof of Platte County’s
educational excellence is in the numbers:

Districts have achieved the state’s designation "Accredited with
Distinction" — the only county in Missouri with that bragging right.

the state of Missouri to raise children, according to Kids Count 2005.

has a building/construction project each year.

programs. Park is the third largest education provider for the military, and
received an international award recently for "Excellence in
