Saint Luke’s Northland – Barry
Road Campus
 The
Barry Road Campus is currently a 80-bed facility, conveniently located
at the intersection of I-29 and Barry Road. Opened in February of
1989, the hospital is the Kansas City Northland's newest general
acute care hospital. This facility has over 400 physicians on staff
and employs over 500 associates. Over 40 physicians representing
many different medical specialties have offices on the Barry Road
campus.
Saint Luke’s Northland - Barry Road campus just completed
the largest expansion in its history. Completed in 2004, the expansion
more than doubled the size of the hospital.

North Kansas City Hospital
 Opened
in 1958, North Kansas City Hospital is the largest hospital in the
Northland area and one of the largest facilities in the Kansas City
metro area. With over 2,000 employees, the hospital also ranks as
one of Kansas City’s largest employers.
The hospital is a 350-licensed bed, acute-care facility conveniently
located at I-35 and Armour 210 in North Kansas City, MO, with accreditation
from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
The medical staff consists of nearly 600 physicians representing
46 medical specialties. A physician referral service is provided
for area residents who call (816) 221-HEAL.
Included among hospital services are: general medical/surgical
care; Level II Trauma Center (largest ER in Kansas City); maternity
care unit and neonatal intensive care nursery; open-heart surgery;
cancer treatment; physical, occupational and speech therapy with
a therapy pool; Wound Healing Center; and hospice services through
NorthCare Hospice & Palliative Care.
