Our Towns

Within the 421 square miles that make up Platte County are 18 communities including: Parkville, Riverside, Weston, Platte City and Kansas City. There is also a large portion of land in Platte County that remains under control of the County government.    From the historic to the newly developed, our communities feature a wide variety of atmospheres, attractions and many other unique reasons to call them home.   Each community has its own distinct personality, but all reap the benefits of the wealth of services, facilities, stability, employment opportunities and quality of life that Platte County has to offer.
