Platte County is located on the western border of Missouri
and is one of fourteen counties in the Kansas City, MO-KS metropolitan
statistical area (MSA). Approximately 20% of Platte County’s 421 square miles fall
within the Kansas City MSA. The Missouri River is on the County's western and
southern borders. Platte County offers many features attractive to business
